Brexit No Deal Contingency – Anguilla

Brexit No Deal Contingency 7th Oct

This Brexit No Deal Contingency paper was circulated throughout Anguilla on 7 October 2019 to help this British Overseas Territory get ready for Brexit.

According to the UK Government's No Deal Readiness Report, published on 8 October 2019, "The Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories, including Gibraltar, are responsible for their own contingency planning and implementation in relation to the UK leaving the EU, whether that is with a deal or without."

The onus has clearly been placed on Anguilla to prepare for Brexit, deal or no deal. As such, our office is pleased to have been able to provide Anguilla with the Brexit No Deal Contingency paper (please click on the above link to access) to help the population prepare. We have worked diligently since the 2016 referendum to represent Anguilla's interests in relation to Brexit, and we hope that this document helps Anguilla prepare for what may be to come.
